Longwood Theatre will present "Little Shop of Horrors" on April 8-11 and 15-18
April 8, 2010 - April 18, 2010
Longwood Theatre will present Little Shop of Horrors on April 8-11 and 15-18. The Sunday performances (April 11 and 18) are at 3 p.m., the Thursday-Saturday performances at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 general admission; $6 for faculty/staff/seniors; and $5 for Longwood students. The box office (395-2474), also in the Center for Communication Studies & Theatre, is open Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and for one hour prior to show times.
The rock musical, which debuted in 1982, is based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors, with music composed by Alan Menken in the style of 1960s-era rock 'n' roll, doo wop, and early Motown.
