Sunscreen, Video Games, and the Economy to be discussed on Nov. 19

Dr. James Christopher Moore, assistant professor of physics, will present the Longwood’s Faculty Colloquium Lecture for Fall 2008 on Wednesday, November 19 from 4-5 p.m. in Room G12 of the Chichester Science Center.Dr. Moore will discuss how an active ingredient found in sunscreen could kick-start a sustainable hydrogen economy while revolutionizing video games.

Dr. Moore’s proposal, based upon research he has been conducting, was chosen from among 20 outstanding proposals submitted by Longwood faculty earlier this semester. The presentation is part of the University Lectures Series and is free and open to the public.
