Richmond Times-Dispatch: Longwood student wins chemistry scholarship

Longwood University junior Jeramie Stamps was featured in the “Around Campus” section, p. B-10, of the Nov. 12 Richmond Times-Dispatch about his selection as an American Chemical Society Scholar.  Stamps will receive a $5,000 renewable scholarship under the program for minority students who plan to pursue a chemistry career. Stamps, 24, a chemistry major who plans to pursue a career in forensic science, is from Ringgold in Pittsylvania County. The story can be accessed online.
