Non-Degree Seeking (Non-Admitted) Students
Visit the Registrar's website for up-to-date course listings.
- No secure sign-in required. Open to all.
- Choose "Term" (example: Fall 2009) & Submit.
- Choose "Subject" & "Course Level" (Graduate) then Submit.
- Follow the procedures below once you have selected a course.
Non-degree seeking (non-admitted) students complete the following procedures to register for a course:
- For on-campus, off-campus, or online courses you can register via regular mail (Registration Office, Longwood University, 201 high Street, Farmville, VA 23909), via fax (434.395.2252), via e-mail if you have the capability to scan the signed/completed forms and attach them (registrar@longwood.edu), or in person in the Registration Office, Barlow Hall, using the Longwood On-Campus Course Registration Form (pdf) or Longwood Off-Campus Course Registration Form (pdf) and the Application for Virginia In-State Tuition Rates (pdf). The In-State Tuition form is required if this is the first time you are registering for a Longwood course or if it has been more than 12 months since you registered for a Longwood course or if your official residence has changed.

Degree-Seeking or Licensure-Only (Admitted) Students
Go to myLongwood for up-to-date course listings, for billing and financial aid information, official notices, and to register for, add or drop classes.
Steps to follow to locate a class and register for that class through myLongwood:
- Secure sign-in required
- Choose "Student" Tab
- Scroll to "Registration Tools"
- Choose "Look Up Classes"
- Choose "Term" (example: Fall 2009) & Submit
- Choose "Subject" & "Course Level" (Graduate) then Submit
- On each course listing CLICK on the CRN for complete information about the course including meeting dates, registration deadlines, prerequisites, and location.
- To Register or Add / Drop on-campus, off-campus or online classes choose "Add or Drop Classes"
- In addition, you may register via regular mail (Registration Office, Longwood University, 201 High Street, Farmville, VA 23909), via fax (434.395.2252), via e-mail if you have the capability to scan the signed/completed forms (registrar@longwood.edu) or in person in the Registration Office, Barlow Hall.
NOTE: Comprehensive examination, thesis, collaborative research, teacher research, lecture/recital registration CANNOT be done via myLongwood. It must be done via regular mail (Registration Office, Longwood University, 201 High Street, Farmville, VA 23909), via fax (434.395.2252), via e-mail if you have the capability to scan the signed/completed forms (registrar@longwood.edu), or in person in the Registration Office, Barlow Hall using the Longwood On-Campus Course Registration Form (pdf).
