Our hours vary. Please check our available appointment times from our Make an Appointment link. 

Make an Appointment

If this is the first time you have scheduled an appointment through our website, please ‘Register for an Account’.

Once you've registered, log in to your Writing Center account and select ‘Graduate Writing Center’ from the drop-down menu.

• Select an appointment from the available days and times
• Complete the form being sure to answer all the questions
• ‘Save the Appointment’  and upload your paper

A Zoom Meeting invitation will be sent to the email address you used to register your account.

Before Your Appointment

Five minutes before your appointment please check your email messages at the email address that you provided when you registered your account.

• Click the invitation link and enter your name and e-mail address. You should automatically be in the Zoom meeting room.

Interacting with your Consultant

Audio

Check to make sure that your microphone is turned on. Look at the bottom left of your screen, at the Microphone icon, to make sure that your audio is enabled and that you are not on mute. If you are on mute, clicking on the microphone will enable the audio.

Sharing Video

Check to make sure that video is enabled. Look on the bottom left of your screen, at the Camera icon, to make sure that your video is enabled. If you are not sharing your video, click on the camera icon should start the video.
